Aside from all of that, she's also been legitimized by perhaps the toughest audience of them all—the fashion community. With the help of stylist Kate Young (known for her ability to brilliantly transform someone's entire image) and one magazine cover after another, Gomez has made all right moves. The latest sartorial stamp of approval? Nicolas Ghesquière just made her the face of his newest Louis Vuitton campaign.

If you're a superfan of Gomez (or Ghesquière), this might not be a total surprise; their relationship has been flourishing for some time now. Most notable was the moment Gomez arrived to the Met Gala in the designer's creation, solidifying her spot as a fashion muse.

When the pair posted a campaign preview (shot by the legendary Bruce Weber) on their respective Instagrams this morning, followed by a final image of Gomez wearing her wonderfully clompy Met Gala boots, that pretty much sealed the deal. We can't wait to see more from the campaign—and from Gomez and Ghesquière's partnership going forward.
